Privacy Policy

Deep Glow · Glowy Games — Effective date: 19 August 2026 · Version 1.0

This Privacy Policy explains how Glowy Games (“we”, “us”, “our”) handles information in connection with the mobile game Deep Glow (the “Game”), available on Apple App Store and Google Play. We built Deep Glow to be privacy‑friendly: it works without any account or login, and we never ask for your name, email address, phone number, or any other information that directly identifies you.

By downloading or using the Game, you agree to the practices described here. If you do not agree, please do not use the Game.

1. Who we are

Deep Glow is developed and operated by Glowy Games, an independent game studio. For any privacy question you can reach us at hello@glowygames.com. For the purposes of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), Glowy Games acts as the data controller for the limited data described below.

2. Information we collect

2.1 Information you provide

None is required. There is no sign‑up, and we do not ask for personal details. If you email us for support, we will process the contents of your message to reply.

2.2 Information collected automatically

2.3 Purchase information

When you buy coins, the transaction is handled by Apple or Google and by RevenueCat. We receive the purchase status and product identifier linked to your anonymous ID. We never receive or store your card number or payment credentials.

3. How we use information

Where GDPR applies, we rely on our legitimate interest in operating and improving the Game and preventing abuse; on your consent for notifications and personalized ads; and on contract performance for purchases.

4. Advertising

The Game shows ads through Google AdMob. To serve and measure ads, AdMob may access your device's advertising identifier, IP address, and ad‑interaction data. On iOS 14.5+ we present Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt; if you do not allow tracking, you will still see non‑personalized ads. You can reset or limit your advertising identifier at any time in your device settings:

5. Analytics & crash reports

We use Google Firebase Analytics to measure aggregate, event‑level usage, and Firebase Crashlytics to receive crash diagnostics. This helps us find problems and decide what to improve. This data is processed by Google on our behalf. See Firebase privacy information.

6. Push notifications

Notifications are optional. If you allow them, we store a push token to deliver messages such as reminders or news about the Game. You can disable notifications at any time in your device settings; doing so stops all notifications.

7. In‑app purchases

Optional coin packs are sold through Apple's App Store and Google Play, with subscription/entitlement management by RevenueCat. Payment is processed entirely by Apple or Google under their terms; we only receive confirmation that a purchase occurred, tied to your anonymous ID.

8. Cloud save & Game Center

On Apple devices, your progress can synchronize through iCloud under your own Apple ID, so it follows you to a new device. If you use Game Center, leaderboard and achievement data is handled by Apple. These features stay within Apple's services and are governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.

9. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share limited data only with the service providers that make the Game work:

AppleApp Store, iCloud, Game CenterLink

We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights or users' safety, or in connection with a business transfer.

10. Data retention

We keep the anonymous ID, push token, and gameplay counters for as long as the Game is installed and active, and delete or anonymize them within a reasonable period after they are no longer needed. Analytics and ad data are retained by Google according to their own retention settings. You can delete your local data at any time (see §14).

11. Data security

We use industry‑standard measures such as encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS) and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information.

12. International transfers

Our service providers may process data in countries other than yours, including the United States. Where required, such transfers are covered by appropriate safeguards (e.g. Standard Contractual Clauses) put in place by those providers.

13. Children's privacy

Deep Glow is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

14. Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live (e.g. the EEA/UK under GDPR, or California under the CCPA/CPRA), you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict the use of your information, to object to certain processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent. Because we do not collect information that directly identifies you, we may be unable to associate data with a specific person, but you can always:

We do not sell personal information and do not knowingly “share” it for cross‑context behavioral advertising as defined under U.S. state laws.

15. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will change the “Effective date” above and, for significant changes, provide a notice in the Game or on this page. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised policy.
